ICT Based Teaching

The faculty of department uses various innovative teaching & learning methodologies such as traditional chalk & talk methods, power point presentations, videos, animations of mechanisms, collaborative learning methods are used where every concept is explained with real world illustrations, design and problematic aspects to create the best learning environment for student.

The following are the various delivery methods used to deliver the courses which help the students to understand the course contents and their applications in Engineering.

  • Method-2: Tutorial/Home Assignment.
  • Method-3: Explanation on practical applications through demonstration of models, laboratory work and site visit.

     

  • Method-4: Problem based learning.

     

  • Method -5: Motivating students for participating in vehicle manufacturing

     

  • Method-6: Formation of students group for working on special projects such as robotics, IOT etc.

     

  • Method-7: Motivating students for completing NPTEL courses

     

  • Method-8: Applying student patents based on their innovative ideas.

     

  • Method-9: Sharing power point presentations and course material with students

     

  • In addition to the syllabus mentioned in the curriculum, the students are exposed themselves as they are provided with the e-content through national and international portals.

     

  • Power Point Presentations, animations are used to explain the different topics.

     

  • Models and Mechanisms are used to explain basic technical concepts.

     

  • Charts, Videos are used to develop the visual abilities.

     

  • Guest lecture of expert professionals are arranged so that students get additional knowledge.

     

  • Industrial Visits are arranged to have practical exposure of different subjects.

     

  • Internal oral and external oral exams are conducted to verify knowledge gained by students regarding the practical of respective subjects.

     

  • E-journals are available in college library

     

  • Collaboration with libraries such as IIT Mumbai library, ARAI Pune library.
