DSY / Lateral Entry Admissions
Admissions to Second Year B.Tech (Direct Second Year) against CAP seats for Diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates.
What is DSY / Lateral Entry?
Direct Second Year (DSY) or Lateral Entry admission allows diploma holders in Engineering/Technology (from MSBTE or equivalent) and B.Sc. (Mathematics) graduates to directly seek admission to the Second Year (Semester III) of B.Tech. program. This route is governed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
Important: Admissions are strictly through DTE Maharashtra CAP. Students must register at dtemaharashtra.gov.in and participate in the online CAP round. College-level direct admissions are not permitted for CAP seats.

CAP Admission Process
Register on DTE Portal
Visit dtemaharashtra.gov.in and register for DSY CAP. Fill in the online application form with personal and academic details.
Document Verification
Attend document verification at designated facilitation centre. Carry original mark sheets, TC, caste certificate (if applicable), and domicile certificate.
Option Form Filling
Fill institute and branch preferences online in order of priority. SCOE's institute code: EN6150 (Kopargaon). Exercise preference for desired branch.
Allotment & Reporting
Check seat allotment online. If allotted SCOE, report to institute within specified date with all original documents and pay first-year fees.

- Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate
- SSC (10th) Mark Sheet & Certificate
- HSC (12th) Mark Sheet (if applicable)
- Domicile / Nationality Certificate
- Caste Certificate (if applicable – SC/ST/OBC/NT/SBC)
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (OBC/NT/SBC)
- CAP Allotment Letter (DTE)
- Aadhar Card (original + photocopy)
- Passport-size photographs (8 copies)
- Migration Certificate (if from other university)
- Gap Certificate (if applicable)
